On behalf of the Interact Club of District 117, I would like to invite you to the 8th Annual Chili Crock-Off at Lakes Community High School on Tuesday February 12th at 5:00 pm followed at 7:00 pm by the Eagle/Sequoit Varsity Basketball game.
The Chili Cook-Off, now Chili Crock-Off is a proud tradition sponsored by the Interact Club. We raise money for the Kilimahewa Educational Center in Moshi, Tanzania. Kilimahewa operates programs through EdPowerment, empowering Tanzanians to develop entrepreneurial skills, access secondary education, and improve the understanding of individuals with disabilities. They are also the recipient of our Global Grant.  For more information, check out
What the crock is this new Chili Crock-Off.  Well, we have changed the rules.  The contest is no longer limited to chili.  Now any dish made in a crock pot can be entered.
As in years past, a $5 donation per person lets you sample all the Chili Crock-Off dishes and participate in a 50/50 raffle, partake in variety of games, and meet our great Interact Club members.
We would also appreciate Rotary Club support.  We need one or two Rotarians to work the 50/50 Raffle, students are not allowed to do this.  If you can help with this please reply to this email.
Look forward to seeing you at the Chili Crock-Off and thank you for helping us top the $700 we raised last year.
